NaNoWriMo in the Wild
WRITERS OF THE WORLD UNITE!
Join the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) this coming November. Wild Child will be including the NaNoWriMo Young Writers Program in a writers intensive that will see participants coming on Thursdays each week for inspiration, motivation, goal setting, encouragement and figuring out the fundamentals of writing a story. Any story.
"It's a fun, seat-of-your-pants writing event where the challenge is to complete an entire novel in just 30 days. For one month, you get to lock away your inner editor, let your imagination take over, and just create!" - NaNoWriMo Website
Participants will set their own word count goals and given the space and time to complete them.
Participants will need to work on the NaNoWriMo challenge at home as it should be completed in small steps done each day.
Following that we will meet every Thursday in November to discuss character development, villains and heroes, conflict, plot twists and working through all the hard stuff. Workshops will be a mix of meetings, media presentations, individual work and group work. Writing time will be supported with prompts and gadgets.
